  • A free breathing app--an antidote to an overstimulating world and an alternative to stressful or addictive games
  • A preview of the upcoming game #SelfCare

Brie Codelead programmer of Child of Light and Assassin's Creed, has worked with Eve Thomas, artist and magazine editor who finds video games boring, to release BreatheLUV on iOS.

BreatheLUV is a free, simple, and beautiful breathing app. It's a preview of the moments to come in TRU LUV's upcoming game, #SelfCare, to be released later this year.

BreatheLUV guides the users through different breathing patterns for calm, focus, or sleep. It features soothing sounds and animations, such as a flower blooming, a sphere coalescing, an ice cube melting, and a mountain growing.

It's a tiny moment for reflection, an antidote to an overstimulating world, and an alternative to stressful or addictive games. There are no notifications, no ads, no score, no competition, no failure. Just breathing.

TRU LUV is the indie studio of Child of Light lead programmer Brie Code. At TRU LUV, each project is designed with someone who finds games boring. TRU LUV's experimental games are focused on care and characters and are supported by a line of care packages available on Patreon.

Brie Code is a game designer, speaker, writer, and the CEO and creative director of TRU LUV, a video game studio making games with people who find games boring. Previously she was a lead programmer at Ubisoft Montreal on the soft, ethereal game Child of Light and three Assassin's Creed games.
